At UConn Health, we evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of bone tumors, soft tissue tumors, and tumor-like conditions. Musculoskeletal tumors are relatively rare and require highly specialized care. Our orthopedic oncology specialist Dr. Adam Lindsay partners with experts from The Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center to offer world-class, comprehensive care to our patients.

Multidisciplinary Care

Bone and soft tissue cancers are relatively rare, with less than 20,000 new diagnoses in the United States annually. It is important that these tumors are treated by a multidisciplinary team. At UConn Health, our orthopedic oncology team includes oncologists, endocrinologists, radiation oncologists, and radiologists who regularly collaborate to provide individualized care for our patients.

Bone and soft tissue cancers are relatively rare, with less than 20,000 new diagnoses in the United States annually. It is important that these tumors are treated by a multidisciplinary team. At UConn Health, our musculoskeletal oncology team meets regularly to collaborate for our patients.
